The National Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Muhammad Kadede Sulaiman at the weekend met with youth and students groups in Gombe State to canvass support for the party’s Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.

Speaking at a town hall meeting with the youth and students’ groups, he urged them to vote for the Atiku/Okowa ticket for a better and brighter future for the unborn generation of Nigerians.

He added that the Youth Directorate of the campaign council, organised the meeting in consideration of the important role youths and students will play in the forthcoming general elections through mobilisation of their peers to vote.

The youth leader said the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu and that of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, are banking on sentiments to win the election.

Kadade stated that Atiku Abubakar is the only candidate with the requisite experience and exposure, stressing that it was glaring in his campaign manifesto.

“Every serious Nigerian knows that the country is in a crisis. Have you ever heard about Tinubu’s policies? He doesn’t have policies. Have you ever heard of Peter Obi’s policies? No, because they are all banking on sentiments.

“Wherever Tinubu goes, he says it’s his time to be president. But we can’t hand over the lives of 200 million Nigerians to a man who doesn’t have a policy; being a governor of Lagos State doesn’t mean you are licensed to be Nigeria’s President.

“We can’t vote for a man willing to divide this country, but rather a man that will unite and find solutions to our country,” he said.
