Ushafa, who was fielding questions from journalists during the party’s zonal rally in Bwari on Friday, said with the achievements of the present FCT Administration and those of the area council authorities, the party is sure of victory at the polls.
The chairman said the party will continue to showcase its achievements to the electorate and urged the people of the territory to continue to support the party during and after the polls.
Ushafa said his administration has embarked on projects that will have direct bearing on the people of the area.
Earlier, the FCT chairman of the party, Alhaji Yahaya Yunusa Suleiman, had called on the people of the FCT to vote for President GoodLuck Jonathan and other PDP candidates during the forthcoming polls. He cited some of the achievements of the FCT Administration in the territory as one of the reasons the people of Abuja should vote for the party.
The FCT Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed, said the PDP-led administration of President Goodluck Jonathan, has done much in the area of infrastructural development across various sectors in the country.
He noted that with the passage of the FCT Revenue Board by the National Assembly, the FCT administration will be able to generate over N300 billion for building infrastructure across the territory and satellite towns.
The minister, therefore, called on residents of the territory to cast their votes for all candidates of the PDP during the February 14 poll.
