Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has said the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) would win all elections in the country in 2019.
Kwankwaso, who arrived Makurdi in Benue State mid-afternoon amidst cheers from his red cap supporters, told Governor Samuel Ortom that he was in the state to congratulate him for taking the right step to defect from the All Progressives Congress (APC) back to the PDP.
Also, he said his visit was to intimate the governor and PDP stakeholders in the state about his decision to contest for the Presidential seat of the country because the present APC government had failed Nigerians in all ramification.
The former Kano State governor and presidential hopeful regretted that the country had never had it so bad like what it is currently experiencing under the APC administration, saying, “in the history of this country, no government like this present one have initiated so much division among the people.”
He assured that the PDP when voted back into power at all levels with him as the president, the country would get good governance because government will be reformed and the police would also be reformed for the betterment of the citizenry.
Kwankwaso added that there were no comparison to the 16 years he had been in the PDP and the last three years he spent in the APC. He said the APC lacks what it takes to provide peaceful governance just as he emphasised that any sensible person remaining there will return to the PDP.
