Speaking with Daily Trust yesterday at the APC national secretariat in Abuja, Radda said the ruling party has lost grip and is clutching at every straw including fabricating lies against the APC, its presidential candidate and officials.
Radda, the national welfare officer of the party, noted that the PDP has never faced a strong opposition and imminent defeat as it does now, adding that the days of the PDP in power are numbered as it will be swept off by the APC and driven into political oblivion.
He maintained that the PDP is scared of facing the APC in the elections adding that the party has resorted to all sorts of tricks including calling for the postponement of elections.
He accused the PDP of promoting violence by allowing President Jonathan’s supporters and his aides to rubbish other people who were perceived to be political opponents of the president.
“For a long time, the president has allowed the militants and his lieutenants to make unguarded utterances against the country and some perceived enemies of his administration. The likes of Asari Dokubo have been allowed to feel untouchable. They can do whatever they like and say whatever they want to say and whatever they want to do, but the president has never called them to order.
“PDP can use any means to attempt to deny Nigerians the chance or having a free and fair elections, but I am telling you it will not work and it will backfire. Nigerians will not tolerate PDP’s excesses,” he said.
