PDP returns Manager, Nwaoboshi as Delta South, North Senatorial flag bearers

The Senator representing Delta South Senatorial district at the National Assembly, Senator James Manager has been returned for the fifth time as the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2019 polls.

Also, Senator (Barr) Peter Nwaoboshi clinched a second term ticket of the party with 506 votes ahead of his close rival, Hon. Ned Nwoko, who polled 442 votes while Arc. Paul came third with 216 votes.

Senator Manager, an Ijaw was declared winner of Delta South Senatoral primary with 563 votes ahead of Hon. Michael Diden (a.k.a. Ejele) who polled 490 votes.

One-time Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. JFK Omatsone, came a distant third with three votes, while void votes was 10.
