PDP picks party chair as gov’ship running mate in Katsina

The gubernatorial candidate of the PDP in Katsina State, Sen. Yakubu Lado Danmarke, has picked the party’s Chairman in the state, Salisu Majigiri, as his running mate in the 2019 general elections.

Majigiri’s nomination and adoption was reached at the party’s expanded state executive committee meeting held yesterday.

The meeting had in attendance all the party’s 2019 flag-bearers, as well as the 34 local government party chairmen.

Speaking to Daily Trust, Majigiri promised to bring his wealth of political experience to ensure victory of the party at the general elections.
