The Director of Media and Publicity of the Peoples’ Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organization Chief Femi Fani-Kayode says the party still has a bright future despite the defeat it suffered in the last presidential election.
Speaking at Ile-Ife, Osun state shortly after he voted in the state’s House of Assembly election, Fani-Kayode noted that the PDP has started re-strategizing.
The former minister of aviation who voted at unit 03, Ilare ward 10, Ile-Ife expressed hope that the PDP would be revamped and its lost glory restored.
He said: “an end has not come to PDP in Nigeria. The party will restore its lost glory in due time and Nigerians will also appreciate the party.”
He said he had no regret serving President Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP, just as he expressed hope that the party would bounce back in due time.
Fani-Kayode however expressed displeasure on the apathy that marred the House of Assembly election in the state, stressing that the election was significant to democracy.
