The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has urged Nigerians to use the occasion of Christmas to promote and strengthen the bond of love, unity and care among themselves without regard to creed, class or divisive considerations.
Debo Ologunagba, National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, in a statement, said it is only through unity that “Nigerians can survive the prevailing hardship in the country occasioned by the anti-people policies and misrule of the All Progressives Congress (APC).”
Relatedly, the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has called on Nigerians to use the season of Christmas to reflect on the values that bind us together as a people.
Amb. Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo, President and Secretary Board of Trustees of NYCN in a statement called for unity, sacrifice among the people and good leadership for national development.

He said the season reminded of the importance of love, compassion, and unity, stressing that these “principles that are essential in our individual lives and the collective progress of our nation.”
