The three aspirants are deputy governor Ibrahim Khalil Aliyu, Sen Muhammadu Buhari and Prof Abubakar Kaoje.
Turaki, in an interview with journalists during a visit by the Tony Anenih-led PDP reconciliation committee yesterday in Birnin Kebbi, called on his supporters to discard the recent screening and nomination of the three aspirants.
The governorship aspirant who polled four votes out of the 24 votes during the recent Zuru Emirate Elders Forum’s screening said the decision was done based on their right but not the choice of the people of Kebbi State.
“The elders who made their own view should equally allow the youth and people of Kebbi State to decide their right candidate. As I speak, I have purchased my form and I promise you that I would contest for the party primaries,” he added.
