The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum has donated N100 milllion to support victims of the attacks in parts of Plateau State, which had claimed many lives and property worth millions of naira.
The governors donated the money when they paid a solidarity visit to Governor Caleb Mutfwang at Rayfield Government House, Jos, noting that it would assist in rehabilitation efforts in the affected areas.
The governors were led by their forum’s chairman, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State.

In his remarks, Mohammed expressed their condolences to Governor Mutfwang and the good people of Plateau State.
He called for decentralised security and establishment of state police, pointing out that there was a need for a united front.
Mutfwang expressed his gratitude to his colleagues for their visit, saying that the significance of the visit to the state during its challenging time was consoling.
