PDP clears Wike

The PDP leaders drawn from all the 23 local government areas of the state were led by the Minister of Sports, Dr Tammy Danagogo, former UBA chairman, Chief Ferdinand Anabrabra, members of the House of Representatives and members of the Rivers State Assembly.
Presenting the clearance certificate to the party leaders, Barrister Wike said that his successful screening was a proof that all the rumours being peddled on his alleged disqualification were false and baseless.
“This marks an important milestone in our march to the Brick House in 2015. This clearance certificate has faulted all the rumours being spread that I will be disqualified. I am presenting this certificate to all our leaders because this struggle belongs to all Rivers people as we work towards emancipating the people of the state and enthrone development.”
Responding, Minister of Sports, Dr Tammy Danagogo, assured the governorship aspirant that all PDP leaders and members were committed to ensuring his emergence as the party’s governorship candidate in the state.
