A former governor of Ogun State and one of Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) national chairmanship aspirants, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has visited Edo State to seek the support of the delegates ahead of the December convention.

Speaking at the PDP secretariat in Benin at the weekend, Daniel promised to make the party an institution that would respect internal democracy and shun all manner of imposition if elected.

Responding, the state PDP chairman, Dan Orbih, assured the national chairmanship aspirant that his request would take the front burner during the congress.
