Yari made the remark in Abuja yesterday at the All Progressives Congress(APC) summit while commenting on the problems confronting Nigeria as a nation during the last 15 years of democracy in the country.
He said,the PDP led government has never shown seriousness in its fight against corruption as according to him the PDP has instead of fighting the menace been condoning and encouraging it by refusing to take the appropriate action against prosecuting its members indicted for corruption, while using its anti corruption agencies to witch-hunt its perceived enemies.
He said while the government is busy pursuing frivolous agendas focused on rigging its way in future elections, the country is recording its worst security challenges never witnessed in the country.
The governor said the PDP government has already failed in its responsibility of protecting the lives and properties of the people.He said all parts of the country are having their general and peculiar challenges disturbing them while the government is busy organising jamborees which shows its insensitivity to the problems of its people especially with the recent destructions and killings going on in the North-Eastern part of the country.
