PDP, Atiku set to announce campaign council

Indication emerged on Monday that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar have concluded arrangements to announce the campaign council that will prosecute the 2023 general elections.

This is just as the feud between Atiku and Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, has lingered despite interventions by various organs and leaders of the main opposition party.

A source who is conversant with the workings of the party told Daily Trust that some leaders of the party have expressed their frustration over the lingering crisis and have advised the presidential candidate to move ahead with members of the party who were ready to prosecute the 2023 elections.
