PCN seals 433 pharmacies, patent stores

The  Director of Inspection and Monitoring of the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN), Mrs Anthonia Aruya, says the council has sealed about 433 pharmacies and patent medicine stores  in various parts of Rivers State.

Mrs Aruya who spoke to journalists in Port Harcourt yesterday after enforcement activities of the council said out of the number of premises sealed 62 were  pharmacies while  371 were  patent medicine vendors.

She said the council visited 554 premises including 148 pharmacies and 406 vendors in the state.
