Pharmacists’ council seals 650 illegal premises

According to him, 378 premises were sealed comprising 34 pharmacies and 344 patent medicines vendors’ shops.

He said some of the stores sealed were found to be engaged in clinical services which are unethical and dangerous to public health.

“Cases of patent medicine vendors engaging in clinical services is a worrisome trend and must be checked to save the lives of the general public,” he said.
