Patrick Dakum, a blessing to Plateau, Nigeria – Lalong

Governor Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau State has described an assistant professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore, USA. Dr. Patrick Dakum, as an invaluable asset in the health sector.

Dakum is also the chief executive officer of the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria.

Lalong who made his remark during the 60th birthday celebration of and launch of a book on Dakum at Langfield in Jos during the weekend, urged people occupying positions to assist the less privileged as Dr. Dakum was doing.

Lalong who was represented by his Commissioner for Information, Yakubu Datti, said the celebrant had been a blessing not only to Plateau State and Nigeria, but to the entire world.
