The Lagos State Police Command has nabbed a fake West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) centre in Igbogbo area of Ikorodu town in the state.
The suspect, who operates the centre, Adeniyi Joshua, is a Pastor at El-Supreme Church.
Recovered from the pastor are: WAEC question papers and answer sheets suspected to be forged.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, who paraded the suspect yesterday before news men at the command Headquarters, Ikeja, said that the case was actually reported to the police by a senior staff of WAEC, Ogba.
The senior staff informed the police of the existence of the fake WAEC center at El-Supreme private school, Number 3, Oseni Adekogbe Street, Igbogbo.
Edgal said that upon receipt of the complaint, a team of police attached to Area G, Ogba, were mobilized to the above address.
He said: "Recovered from him are WAEC question papers and answer sheets suspected to have been forged."
