A man and a pastor of the First ECWA church in Olla, Isin LGA of Kwara State, Pastor Adewumi, were abducted at the weekend, City & Crime learnt.
The second victim, said to be a computer engineer identified as Adeyemi and the clergyman were reportedly kidnapped inside their homes.
According to a resident who spoke with our correspondent about the incident, Mrs Yusuf Adekunle, the incident happened around 8:30 pm.
“They stormed the home of Pastor Adewumi with guns and abducted him. While they were taken him along, they enquired who was the owner of a car parked at a distance and he replied that it was for his neighbour, Engr Adeyemi.

“They then led him with guns and told him to knock on his door that he (Adewumi) wants to see him. They swooped on him after he obliged and bundled the two of them away.”
At the time of filing this report, the abductors were yet to make any contact with the family.
Contacted on Monday, police spokeswoman, DSP Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, said she would find out and get back.
Two residents of the community, Mr Suraj Adeyemi and Mrs Funmilayo Adeoti, while speaking on the development, said the activities of the gunmen had reached a level of serious concern and pleaded with the government to come to their rescue.
