“We heard about 8 vehicles were set ablaze by the terrorists that attacked the convoy of cars from Manini to Kurega village along the highway. Many people were abducted but we are afraid to visit the scene,” he said.

Another resident of Kurega, who pleaded anonymity, confirmed that eight vehicles while some of the people inside the vehicles ran into the bush.

“The cars were attacked by the terrorists on their way to Kaduna at a place called Tashar Ayuba before kurega-Manini area. We don’t know the actual number of people abducted because nobody dared to visit there,” he said.
