The father, Malam Umar Yahaya, a civil servant in Yobe State said his daughter was last seen on the February 22, this year when she abruptly left a lecture hall in her school.

“My appeal to well meaning Nigerians is to pray for the coming back of my daughter, I still feel that she is alive”, Malam Umar, who described his daughter as kind hearted and obedient, said.

According to him, “I was told that on that fateful day, she just left her class while lectures were going on. I learnt she gave her notebook to one of her friends to copy and that was the last that could be said about her whereabouts.” he added.

He said after the closure of school around 4pm, Fatima who was a student of Quranic Science did not go back home. “The house is in Bulabulin Quarters in Nguru, just within a walking distance from the school,” he said, adding that enquiries in all the houses of family members, friends and acquaintances of Fatima were made without any inkling of her whereabouts.

He said he had also reported the matter at the Nguru Divisional Police Headquarters.
