Parents cry out as over 330 pupils in FCT school learn in the open

Parents of the Local Education Authority (LEA) primary school in Anguwar Wana in Rafin-Daji community in Gurdi Ward of Abaji Area Council of the FCT have decried the dilapidated state of classrooms in the school.

Parents who spoke with City & Crime on Thursday, said that since a windstorm blew off the roofs of the classrooms over a year ago, pupils no longer had access to conducive learning.

A parent, Shuaibu Aliyu, said pupils of the school had been attending classes in the open, which he noted posed a serious risk to their lives and the teachers.
