Palliatives: Don’t politicise distribution, Sokoto govt warns committees

The Sokoto State government has asked the committees handling the distribution of palliatives at the local government areas not to politicise their assignments.

The palliatives were meant to reduce the hardship being experienced in the state as a result of the fuel subsidy removal.

Briefing newsmen on Tuesday, the chairman of the main distribution committee, Ambassador Abubakar Shehu Wurno, said Governor Ahmed Aliyu had made it very clear that everybody should benefit from the palliative irrespective of political affiliation.
