Palace robbery: Jawon Minna wants culprits punished

The Jawon Minna, Alhaji Mohammed Nma Kolo, has called on the security agencies in Niger State to leave no stone unturned in ensuring that whoever has a hand in the robbery at the Palace of Emir of Minna, Alhaji Umar Farouk Bahago, is made to face the law.

He made the call while sympathising with the Niger State Government and the Emir of Minna, Alhaji Umar Farouk Bahago, over the recent robbery attack on the palace treasury.

Daily Trust Saturday reported how armed robbers numbering about five stormed the palace in broad daylight and made away with cash belonging to the emirate council.

The Jawon Minna described the incident as unfortunate, saying that the palace was a sacred place and custody for the values of the people of Minna which must be protected at all costs.
