The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Plateau State says the new Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Malam Hussaini Halilu Pai, has officially assumed duty.
A statement signed by the Deputy Director, Voter Education and Publicity in the state, Mr. Osaretin Imahiyereobo, said Pai was an educationist and a seasoned administrator and that he was one of the two commissioners who served in the Prof. Attahiru Jega-led INEC.
