Deaf wants promises fulfilled

The Association of the deaf in Chanchaga Federal Constituency of Niger State wishes to call on Rep Umar M. Bago (APC) to help reduce poverty among our members, through providing us with motorbikes, Keke NAPEP, and skills acquisition materials and equipment. This will greatly assist the pool of unemployed deaf to become self-reliant. We want to remind you that this forms part of the promise you made to us.

Alh. Ibrahim Ndagi,

Secretary-General, Deaf Association, Niger state.

We want more scholarship

The people of Bogoro/Dass/Tafawa Balewa Federal Constituency in Bauchi State wish to appreciate the House of Representatives Speaker, Hon Yakubu Dogara, for his concern and support to the youths of his constituency, especially in the area of job creation.

We, therefore, want to use this avenue to solicit for more assistance in the areas of scholarship to orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) as well as other youths interested in returning to school.

Orphans await feedback on pledge

I want to call on Rep Idris Garba (APC), representing Kontagora/Wushishi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives to fulfill the promise he made to orphans in Kontagora. Based on your directives, a list of names of several orphans to be assisted was compiled by the Amana Rural Peoples Advocacy Foundation, an NGO, but we are yet to get any feedback on this.

Unemployment taking toll on youths

I want to call on Rep Zakar Ya’u Galadima (APC, Yobe) of Bade/Jakusko Federal Constituency, to double his efforts in securing jobs for the youths in federal government’s agencies. Lack of employment is beginning to have a negative impact in the lives of youths in the area. We hope you will maximise your intervention in this regard.

Extend gesture to unemployed graduates

With great sense of appreciation, we write to commend Rep Ibrahim Baba (APC, Bauchi) for his recent education intervention for students who have deficiency in their SSCE.

However, graduates with good academic skills and qualifications have remained unemployed in Katagum Federal Constituency. We want to urge you to provide employment/job to these talented youths so that they will be self-reliant.

Be part of Reps’ contributions to debates

It is almost over eight months since the 8th National Assembly was inaugurated, with our member, representing Mokwa/Lavun/Edati Federal Constituency, Rep Ahmed Abu (APC, Niger), as part of it. We want to urge him to contribute to debate at the House so that he would positively impact on the lives of people he is representing and Nigerians at large. People equally expect him to be paying regular visit to his constituency.

Constituency needs urgent attention

This is for the attention of Rep Usman Ibrahim, representing Hadejia/Auyo/Kafin Hausa Federal Constituency of Jigawa State. We have observed that you used to remain silent in the House when it comes to debate. Also, our constituency needs urgent attention in the areas of jobs creation for youths, healthcare and agriculture.
