P&G, UI partner on technology transfer

The deal took effect with the formal handover of baby care production equipment and spare parts to the institution by P&G. The equipment is expected to be used to endow the technology laboratories and provide hands-on training for students of the institution, especially those from the Faculty of Engineering.
Speaking, The Manufacturing Director, P&G Nigeria, Tomasz Szpyt said the donation was part of the company’s efforts towards promoting academic excellence in Nigeria through the provision of an enabling environment for learning in tertiary institutions.
“The equipment is expected to be used to endow the technology laboratories and provide hands-on training for students of the institution, especially those from the Faculty of Engineering. For us, this is part of our corporate social responsibility to enhance learning in our tertiary institutions.”
