Workers in Oyo state deserted offices, following the three day warning strike embarked upon by the workers which commenced on Wednesday.

The State  Government however declared ‘no work no pay’ policy for workers in the state.

The State government blamed the organized labour for violating  labour  rule  according to the Trade Dispute Act 2010 Section43 (1)(a).

Explaining that. "thereby failing to honour invitation by it to find amicable solution to the industrial dispute, the labour unions accused government of peddling tissues of lies to cover its undoing."

Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Trade Union Congress (TUC) and Joint Negotiating Council ( JNC) had declared a three day warning strike on Tuesday , commencing on Wednesday following the expiration of  a 7- day notice served on the government last week Wednesday .
