Oyo State government has announced that it is embarking on the enumeration of all properties in the 33 local government areas of the state.
The enumeration, according to the Commissioner for Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Ajiboye Omodewu, would help the state government to have a comprehensive Property Data Base of all commercial, educational, health institutions, industrial and residential properties.
The commissioner said in a signed statement that the government officials in the 33 local government areas would soon commence the identification and enumeration of all properties under the supervision of Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban development.
The statement urged members of the public to cooperate with these officials, saying the action would be beneficial to all and sundry.
