Speaking at the rally where he publicly declared for APC, Oyinlola, a former governor of the state, said he left PDP because the Federal Government has no plan for Nigeria.
He said also that the Federal Government has marginalised the South West and that efforts made to make government see reason failed.
Oyinola said PDP candidate in the Osun election, Senator Iyiola Omisore, was selfish and only recognised those who went to prison with him over the death of late Chief Bola Ige.
He urged the people to vote for Aregbesola for his good works to continue.
Reacting, chairman of the PDP in Osun, Alhaji Gani OlaOluwa, described the defection of Oyinlola from to the APC as inglorious.
In a statement in Osogbo, OlaOluwa said Oyinlola requires to be prayed for as he starts a political journey with professional liars.
“I am sure that his immediate and extended family members will even be disappointed. As a political party, the PDP in Osun has shock absorbers to contain such eventuality as we are always prepared legally, constitutionally and politically,” he said.
