Oyetola approves new minimum wage, lifts embargo on promotion

The Governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola has approved the new minimum wage for Osun workers in the state and also lifted embargo on annual salary increment, promotion and conversion.

Speaking in Osogbo, Oyetola said the implementation of the new minimum wage for workers in the state would commence as from November 1, 2020.

He said this was in tandem with the recommendations of Government/Labour Committee which he set up to work out the modalities for resolving all workers’ welfare-related issues.
