An Executive Director with the Niger Delta Power Holding Company, Engr. Ifeoluwa Oyedele, has refuted media reports that he has formally declared his intention to run for the 2020 gubernatorial election in Ondo State.

A statement from Oyelede said though there were insinuation on who was best suited for the Alagbaka’s plum job in view of the fact that an average person in the state was yearning for change of leadership, he was still consulting and yet to formally declare his intention to vie for the seat on the platform of APC.

Engr. Oyedele stated that though he was sufficiently prepared and eminently qualified to lead the people and transform the Sunshine state to an industrial state from its present unenviable tag of civil service state, he had not formally declared for the governorship race.
