Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has presented a budget estimates of N113,572,718,523.82, for the 2023 fiscal year.
The budget’s capital expenditure is N34,062,085,464.93 while the recurrent expenditure is N80,362,578,854.29.
The budget is christened “Budget of Strong Beginning.”
Oyebanji said “We are starting strong because we are not starting afresh,” adding that his government has adopted zero-based budgeting whereby all expenses must be justified.
