The General Manager of the Adamawa Sunshine Transport Company, Engineer Ahmed Nyako, has disclosed to Daily Trust that over 20 of the vehicles bought by the past administration seven years ago had been grounded.
Ahmed said he had been going through lots of challenges in trying to revive the transport company but his efforts had so far proved abortive.
“As it is now we have only two vehicles that are working,” he said, and appealed to Governor Muhammadu Jibrilla Bindow to look into the finances of the company as he could not even pay staff salary for this month.
