Over 150 exhibitors and 20,000 participants from various parts of Nigeria and across the world are expected to attend the 6th edition of Real Estate and Construction Expo (RECON EXPO 2022).

Chairman of RECON, Dr Johnson Anene, said this Wednesday in Abuja while briefing journalists ahead of the forthcoming three-day conference planned by Shelter Aid Limited and West Africa Ceramics Ltd in conjunction with Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and a host of government and private sector.

Anene said the expo billed for October 25 to 27, with the theme, “Building Wealth Through Investment in Real Estate and Construction”, would focus on exhibition, conference, networking, training, B2B, B2G and investment forums.

According to him, products to be exhibited include housing, furniture, lights, construction and building materials and technologies.

He said: “The expo is open to real estate developers, investors, mortgage bankers, building materials suppliers, professionals and practitioners in real and construction industry, the diplomatic communities, MDAs, NGOs, Associations, Professional Bodies, Trade Unions and the public.

“The 6th edition of RECON is intended to draw more investment into the real estate and construction sector and help solve the Nigerian housing deficit, explore modern building Techniques, promote local production of building materials, present new investment opportunities, create jobs for our youths and contribute to national economic growth.”
