Daily Trust had a chat with the CEO of Baffi furniture, Bahtiyar Nalbant, at the company’s Lugbe Gateway Mall showroom.

What can you tell us about Baffi furniture’s establishment and its current state?
Our aim was to bring our many years of experience in furniture production and marketing from Turkey to Nigeria by establishing a good, qualitative and modern factory in Abuja in 2016 and so far, we have a total number of six showrooms in Abuja and Kano State, to provide our customers with a conducive environment where they can feel safe and confident to get their furniture.
What excites you about your work?
We set out on this road to dream together with our customers. Our customers had dreams for quality and comfortable furniture for their homes and offices, thus, we established a company that can fulfill this dream and ensure they buy it with confidence. Looking back at what we have achieved so far, gives us an immeasurable excitement to do more.
What are your future goals at Baffi furniture?
Our company’s biggest goal is to ensure the continuity of our customers’ trust in us. We are working hard not to disappoint our customers in this direction. That’s why our motto is “DON’T TRUST WORDS, TRUST BAFFI”. Also, to create more employment by raising production and sales capacity and being the leading company in this sector.

Are your products imported or made-in-Nigeria?
We have a full fledged 5000m^2 factory at Idu Industrial area Abuja with high level functional and latest technologies and well-trained personnel. We produce all kinds of Sofa sets, dining sets, bed sets, office and kitchen cabinet, and we also supply other furniture companies.
