Katsina United Head Coach Baldwin Bazuaye says that maintaining a Nigeria Professional Football League place after the 2016/17 season remains the club’s main aim.

The Chanji Boys are ninth on the standings with 16 points from 12 matches and despite their decent standing, their handler has stated that working hard to avoid the drop is all they care about.

“We may not be worried by relegation presently but we must continue to remain very hard-working and strive to use the break very well,” Bazuaye told Goal.

“We have injuries to combat with and also we also need to think of better strategies to adopt ahead of our future matches.

“The objective is to stay out of the relegation spot and every other thing that comes after that will be considered as bonus.”
