There were indications that the People’s Democratic Party might have shunned the votes in certain areas under the control of Senator Omisore.
There were no PDP agents in areas believed to be the stronghold of the candidate of the Social Democratic Party,Senator Iyiola Omisore who is working for the candidate of All Progressive Congress, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola in the election.
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), agent was noticeably missing, Ward 7, Unit 12, Adereti Village.
A source said the PDP agent and some supporters of the party were chased out the polling unit by some hoodlums
The agents of APC and Social Democratic Party and others were sighted at the polling unit.
Also, some serving Commissioners and Special Advisers of Osun state government were sighted in the polling centre.
Security around the polling unit was watertight.
Speaking to newsmen, Supervisory Presiding Officer, Femi Kuku, said the excercise was going on well without hitch.
