Adeleke vs Oyetola: Appeal Court reserves judgment

The Appeal Court has reserved judgement in the appeal by Governor Ademola Adeleke challenging the Osun State governorship election.

The panel on Monday reserved the appeal for judgement after the arguments of both Governor Adeleke’s lawyers and former governor, Gboyega Oyetola.

Tribunal sacks Adeleke, declares Oyetola winner of Osun guber poll

Adeleke had on February 9th, appealed the judgement of the Osun State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal which nullified his election.

The tribunal ruled in favour of a former governor of the state Gboyega Oyetola.

While delivering the judgement, two out of the three-member panel of the tribunal held that Oyetola proved that there was over-voting in some of the polling units.
