Osun governor releases N472m to LAUTECH

Osun state governor, Gboyega Oyetola, has released a total of N472million to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.

It was learnt that the release was in honour of an agreement reached by Oyetola and his Oyo state counterpart, Seyi Makinde, to ensure financial stability and sustainability of the institution jointly owned by both states.

“I wish to inform you that the State Government of Osun has paid the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Million Naira Only (N250,000,000.00) to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso,” a statement from the state government read.

Also, a letter signed by Osun state Commissioner of Finance, Bola Oyebamiji, added that the state government also released a sum of N222million to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital, Osogbo.

He said this brought the total fund released to the University to N472million.
