Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has said that the palliatives sent to the state by Federal Government were not hoarded in any warehouse.
The governor, who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Ismail Omipidan in Osogbo on Monday, explained that palliatives found in the warehouse in Ede were donated by Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID) and that the donor delayed the distribution.

“The last letter Osun Food Relief committee wrote to CACOVID on behalf of the State was dated September 28, reminding them that the State was yet to receive the rice component of the donated items and that they should give the committee further directives on the available ones since some of the items were perishable”, he added.
Meanwhile, some residents of Boluwaduro community, Ijetu Olowookere Area, Osogbo, Osun State on Monday returned items they looted during the #EndSARS crisis. The Chairman of the Community, Ope Sangodipe said some people dropped looted items at the back of a house in the community.
