Aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, who are supporters of a former Governor of the state and Minister of Interior, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, have shunned the Appeal Committee set up to hear their grievances over the last state congress of the party in the state.
The chairman of the Appeal Committee, Ambassador Obed Wadzani, on Sunday, disclosed that no petition was received from any member of the party until the submission closed.

He said the committee had concluded its assignment and would return to Abuja to report to the national secretariat of the party accordingly.
Meanwhile, Aregbesola’s supporters, who held a parallel Congress has dragged the leadership of the party to court over the party’s state congress.
But the Chairman of the party in the state loyal to the state governor, Mr Gboyega Famodun, said Aregbesola’s supporters were only seeking relevance and assured that there would be reconciliation where their grievances would be addressed.
