Osun APC, govt bicker over ‘diversion of N1bn SURE-P fund’

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has accused the state governor, Ademola Adeleke of diverting N941,850, 000.00 SURE-P fund to buy rice for the members and leaders of the PDP in the state for Christmas.

The spokesman for Osun APC, Kola Olabisi in a statement in Osogbo on Wednesday said Adeleke was running the affairs of the state as if it was an enterprise of his family.

But Adeleke’s spokesperson, Rasheed Olawale said the SURE-P fund was intact and that the governor sourced the money used to purchase the Christmas rice elsewhere.
