The Osun State Police Command, Osogbo on Thursday arraigned a 45-year-old woman, Olayinka Obaado for stabbing her neighbor, Adekunle Adebayo in the head at Oke-Baale in Osogbo.
The Police Prosecutor, Inspector Razaq Olayiwola told the court that the accused person committed the offence on September 14th, 2020 at about 5:30pm.
Olayiwola told the Court that the offence committed by the accused person was contrary to and punishable under Section 516 and 355 of the Criminal Code Cap 34 vol. II Laws of Osun State Nigeria, 2002.
The accused person pleaded not guilty to the offence leveled against her and her counsel, Okobe Najite applied for the bail.
In her ruling, Magistrate Adijat Oloyade admitted the accused person to bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
The Magistrate orders her remanded in the Ilesa correctional center if she fails to meet the bail condition.
Oloyade adjourned the case till October 26, 2020 for hearing.
