Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Sunday in Abuja met behind closed doors with President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the meeting which took place at the Aguda House, Presidential Villa, Abuja, lasted for more than an hour.
Details of the meeting were not made known to newsmen as of the time of filing this report.
However, a senior protocol officer attached to the office of the acting president told NAN that the Ghanaian president was on a private visit to Nigeria.
Akufo-Addo later attended the Imo State Thanksgiving Day in Owerri.
President Akufo-Addo first visited Nigeria on Dec. 19, 2016 where he met with President Muhammadu Buhari in the Presidential Villa, Abuja. This was before his swearing-in on 7 January 2017. (NAN)
