Osinbajo rally support for Buhari’s re-election in Gombe

Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo has called on Nigerians to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari in the forthcoming presidential election to consolidate on the gain of his first tenure.

Osinbajo who spoke in Kaltungo LGA of Gombe state during the flag off campaign of the APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, said Buhari is trustworthy and honest for the job.

According to the vice president at this critical time Nigeria needs a man of Buhari’s impeccable qualities and character to preside over the country.

“President Buhari is a trustworthy and honest man, I have worked with him and I can tell you that he is a man that means well for the country. This is the kind of leader that Nigeria needs at this moment.

Professor Osinbajo also debunked claim in some quarters that APC is an Islamic party, saying the APC is a party for all faiths and Buhari is president is for all Nigerians.

While presenting the APC flag to Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya, the APC gubernatorial candidate for Gombe State, Osinbajo urged the people of the state to vote for all candidates fielded by APC at all levels.

In his speech, the Secretary of the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, said APC was a party for all Nigerians, regardless of their ethnic or religious affiliation.

He said that the people of the North-East were grateful to Buhari for the improvement in security in the sub-region.
