Vice President Yemi Osibajo Monday defied the heavy rain that greeted his arrival within Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos on Monday to take a tour of the expansive arena to pay homage to thousands of supporters seated at the pavilions.

Osibajo, who was driven to the arena in the company of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, refused to mount the podium designed for him and the Governor, opting, instead, to tour the expansive arena to pay homage to supporters and residents who have since besieged the arena.

The crowd at different sections responded with wild jubilation and ‎standing ovations for the Vice President.

At the TBS were security gadgets including pick-up vans, bikes, ‎among others slated to be commissioned  by the representative of the President and to be  handed to different security agencies.
