Victor Osimhen’s availability for the return match against AC Milan in the Champions League quarter finals has given Napoli a big boost ahead of the second leg.
Osimhen was unable to compete in the first leg at San Siro owing to an adductor injury sustained on his return from international duty with Nigeria.
The Super Eagles star was absent from the league match between the two sides on April 2nd, as well as the Champions League match on Wednesday.
Osimhen’s absence was noted in both games, as Napoli was defeated by an aggregate score of 5-0. The Neapolitans were thrashed 4-0 at home in the league before falling to a solitary goal at the San Siro on Wednesday night.

Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti confirmed Osimhen’s return following the 1-0 defeat on Wednesday night.
“Victor Osimhen will 100% be available for the return leg at Maradona on Tuesday. He will be there,” Spalletti said.
The expected return of Osimhen, who has been the team’s finest performer this season, is a significant boost for Napoli.
The Nigerian international has 25 goals for Serie A leaders, including 21 in 23 league appearances.
Osimhen has four goals in five Champions League games this season, demonstrating his value to Napoli.
