Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has grabbed another hat-trick in his second game for his new club Napoli.

Osimhen scored his first hat-trick on his debut for Napoli against L’Aquila.

The Nigerian star also assisted two goals in the 11-goal thriller.

In his second game for Napoli on Friday, the most expensive African Footballer also helped himself to another hat-trick against Teramo FC.
The Super Eagles striker has now scored 6 goals in his first 120 minutes of football with Napoli.

Osimhen began his journey to stardom when he represented the Nigeria U-17 team at the FIFA World Cup in Chile back in 2015.

In that tournament, Osimhen scored 10 goals to finish as the highest goal scorer as Nigeria won the title.

Following that performance, Osimhen joined Wolfsburg where he struggled with injuries and had difficulties adapting.

He joined Belgian side Charleroi on loan and reignited his career with 20 goals in 36 appearances to finish as the Club’s Player of the Season in the 2018/2019 football year.

His successful loan made Charleroi sign him permanently and quickly cashed in on him with €12m plus €3m from Lille.

At Lille, Oismhen continued to shine and scored 18 goals in 38 appearances across all competitions as he won the Club’s Player of the Year.

He was included in Ligue 1’s Team of the Season and won the 2020 Prix Marc-Vivien Foé which is the award for the best African player in Ligue 1.

His performances in the 2019/2020 season again got the attention of big clubs around Europe but Napoli were able to get him on their books.

Reports from Italy have the figure of Osimhen signing as €50 million-plus add-ons, while reports from France say the deal is worth £74m as he becomes Africa’s most expensive player.
