A former governor of Edo State and senator-elect for Edo North Senatorial District, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has assured the people of the district of better representation at the National Assembly.
Oshiomhole, a former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), also appealed to the electorate to vote for the party’s candidates in this Saturday’s governorship and state assembly elections.
Oshiomhole who defeated the incumbent senator, Francis Alimikhena of the PDP, said this at the weekend in his thank-you message to the people of the district for voting for him during the February 25 polls.
He said, “Your votes represent a loud statement that Edo North deserves better, and I promise you that I will give you good representation at the red chambers, like you have never witnessed before.
“I will not take for granted the trust Edo North people have reposed in me by voting across board for the APC in the presidential and National Assembly elections.”
